There is a growing and desperate need for resources for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Durban at present. Thirty years ago, one in 10000 children were diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Today, one in 200 children are diagnosed with some form of Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Applied Behaviour Analysis therapy remains the most effective means of early and intensive intervention and management for children with ASD.
